Hello,

My name is Jonathan Fernandez. I'm a sports journalist that has worked for ABC, Sports Illustrated, NBC and The Press-Enterprise. I am currently in Memphis, Tennessee working for ABC24 as part of TEGNA's Producer-in-Residence program. Before moving to Memphis I was studying sports media in Chicago, where I received my master's degree from Northwestern Medill. No matter where I am currently working though, Southern California will always be home. I grew up in Riverside, California and went to the University of California, Riverside for undergrad. I worked for the student newspaper all four years and was lucky enough to serve as the Editor-in-Chief in my fourth year.
